The biggest night in Hollywood came and went with a literal bang - if you know what I’m talking about. However, let's talk about the second most memorable part of the night: The fashion! Here are our picks for the best and worst looks of the evening.
BEST DRESSED
1. Jessica Chastain
Chastain not only won our hearts wearing this Gucci number, but she also walked away with one of the biggest awards of the night; she won Best Actress for her interpretation of Tammy Faye in “The Eyes of Tammy Faye.”
2. Jada Pinkett Smith
If nothing else had happened that night, I’m sure the only thing we would remember was Jada Smith’s iconic dress! She was rocking a dark green, meters-long gown from the most recent Jean Paul Gaultier collection.
3. Lily James
James’s looks this award season have been nothing less than amazing, and this is no different. The soft blush looks stunning on James, and her hair, accessories, and makeup perfectly complete the look.
4. Rickey Thompson
Thompson’s fit was one of the most explorative of all the night's looks. The rib cage-inspired outfit is a memorable departure from the basic, black suit that 75% of the men wore. It was meticulously crafted and fit him seamlessly.

5. Timothée Chalamet
Chalamet always tries something new with his red carpet looks, and this look had the girls and the gays SCREAMING. The bedazzled, shirtless outfit was sleek, classic, but oh-so perfect. Don’t miss the small, lace details trimming the cuffs and bottom of the jacket.
WORST DRESSED
1. Kristen Stewart
Chanel must be holding Stewart hostage with a full look policy because none of her recent outfits have been on point. The look is not only strange, but it is so out of theme for the Oscars. Maybe she was late for the Razzies?
2. Daniel Kaluuya
This look seemed to fit poorly and the color is so 80s cheap. It does nothing for Kaluuya, and is quite strange as his past red carpet looks have been so on point.
3. Kirsten Dunst
For someone that was up for such a prestigious award, Dunst really looks like she bought the first dress she saw off the JCPenney rack. It truly looks like something someone wore to prom 10 years ago; not exactly an Oscar nominee statement outfit.
4. Amy Schumer
The host of the show also had one of the worst looks of the night. This look was simply boring and uninspired. I understand Schumer wasn’t up for an award, but she still could have turned a look.
5. Jane Campion
Campion is giving us absolutely nothing. She walked away with the Oscar for Best Director, and she may also walk away with our award for worst-dressed. This dress is boring, ill-fitting, and uninspiring.
Although the Oscars isn’t fashion week, it’s always amazing to see celebrity style come to life on the red carpet. What were your favorite looks from the night? Who’s going to fashion jail?
